The ushering ministry is the front line of the church. Along with members of the welcome ministry, the ushering ministry helps ensure a smoothly running church service and who ministers to people in a variety of practical ways. The specific responsibilities include greeting people as they arrive into the sanctuary for the service, distribution of bulletins, identification and distribution of cards to first time worshippers, regulating the air conditioners, ensuring decorum at all times, assisting people with special needs, and collecting the offering.
